Land Ownership & Residency

A planted teak and avocado parcel by a volcano and a beach — and a way to explore residency in Nicaragua.

The Vida Verde Cosiguina farm.

Land that is already growing

Unlike Harvest Rights, this path is about the land itself. You own a parcel of the farm, planted and ready, and decide how involved you want to be.

A planted parcel

Parcels start at a half acre, with teak and avocado trees already planted. You can combine parcels to build a larger holding.

Titled ownership

The offering is freehold, titled ownership of the land, in a setting beside the dormant Cosiguina volcano and close to the beach on the Gulf of Fonseca.

A route to residency

Vida Verde presents parcel ownership as an investment in reforestation, which can be the basis for applying for Nicaraguan residency. Requirements are set by Nicaraguan authorities and are confirmed during the process.

Farm care, if you want it

Care for your trees yourself, hire someone, or use Vida Verde’s farm care service: pruning, dry-season irrigation, fire-safe upkeep, and photo and video updates. Replanting insurance is available as an option.
